9/11/17 - KBT approves map as NCGS OFR 2017-10.

9/8/17 - MM made corrections to KBT edits, printed map out and awaits final approval.

8/15/17 - MM made corrections, per PB.  MM then printed another map.

8/3/17 - MM labeled polygons, Jd lines and Qal polygons.  MM made other assorted corrections in layout and map to finish edits. MM emailed PB a pdf of map, so far.

8/2/17 - MM substituted joint diagram in layout with Joint_CCR_2017_thick_grid_non_symmetrical diagram.  MM split Zhft polygon in upper left of map and made it Zhdlt (u).

7/28/17 - MM substituted new stereonets in layout, per PB's email.

7/21/17 - MM added and adjusted some text in layout.  MM printed map for review.  

6/19/17 - MM modified fold decorations and then confirmed correctness of decorations.  MM also added new fold lines to the lines area of layout.  

6/14/17 - MM created concealed contact lines from breaking up regular and other contact lines.

6/12/17 -  MM added and adjusted text and symbols to layout.  MM tried to make sure layout was reflective of what was in the quad.

6/9/17 - MM used topology to snap the 2017 Qal lines to nodes and then created Qal polygons.  MM created sheeprock polygons.  MM cleaned up .mxd catalog tree.

6/8/17 - MM updated the correlation diagram, using part of Siler City as a template.  MM also brought in FY2017 files for the quad.  MM will continue the melding process with the 2016 data tomorrow.

6/7/17 - PB gave MM final data folder for quad.  MM added traverse from 2017_traverse and clipped to quad.  MM updated stereonets.  MM is in the process of updating the correlation diagram.

5/12/16 - MM confirmed with topology and with viewing the feature classes that the linework (now ContactsAndFaults) and the polygons (now OverlayPolys) are clean.

5/11/16 - MM created new box with NCGS information and placed in layout.

5/6/16 - MM added Qal lines (OverlayPolys) from Qal_polylines_Siler_city_area (a zip file from PB) to the feature dataset.  MM connected the nodes from the linework and ran topology (successful).  MM converted linework into OverlayPolys2 feature class.

5/4/16 - MM spliced the hydro layer, turned it into a GeoTIFF and added to .mxd. MM darkened the contours to RGB 177, 137, 119 on the FullQuad GeoTIFF.

5/3/16 - MM started and completed turning NC_Crutchfield_Crossroads_20130501_TM_geo_for_Export into a GeoTIFF and loaded it into the new CrutchfieldCrossroads_PRODUCTION.mxd.

5/2/16 - MM created the Crutchfield Crossroads folder and also created the DISTRIBUTABLE and PRODUCTION folders within the Crutchfield Crossroads folder.  MM copied NC_Crutchfield_Crossroads_20130501_TM_geo and NC_Crutchfield_Crossroads_20130501_TM_geo_for_Export from the T drive from PB.

5/25/16 - MM loaded CrutchfieldCrossroads Qal from PB into the PRODUCTION folder. 

6/5/16 (Sunday) - MM loaded CrutchfieldCrossroads_2016.shp and modified attribute table to add SM_CODE and Symbol columns.  MM then saved this as ObservationPoints_CrutchfieldCrossroads.  MM then formatted the symbols and arranged them (as well as the dip numbers) to maximize visibility.

6/8/16 - MM received stereonets and rock unit descriptions from PB and MM placed them into the layout.  MM added structural symbols to the layout.  MM added dip numbers and placed them next to the symbols.  MM entered new information into the info box in the lower right of the layout.  

6/10/16 - MM placed dip numbers next to symbols in legend.

6/14/16 - MM received email from HH (6/13) and downloaded SCI_CCR_LIB_COL data into the Statemap_Chapel_Hill_100k folder.  MM then clipped out Crutchfield Crossroads data and began to symbolize it.  MM added labels to rock unit polygons.  MM added Correlation Diagram to Data View.  MM changed folds to magenta and disregarded HH symbols and placed individual anticline and syncline symbols on folds.

6/15/16 - MM placed two additional references in References section of layout.  MM added OtherPoints, symbolized them and added numbers in the quad.  MM added lines and OtherPoints in the layout.  MM added colored boxes and changed a inferred contact into a concealed contact.

6/16/16 - MM clipped 2016 Traverses to quad and symbolized the lines.  Blank entries in traverse type column were done by DOT and are to be left blank.  MM added traverses to layout. 

6/23/16 - MM loaded CSA and fold axes from HH folder on T drive.  MM resaved CSA files into CSA_GeologicMap feature dataset and used HH layer files to label the cross section.  MM clipped fold axes for Crutchfield Crossroads and added the two lines to OtherLines_CrutchfieldCrossroads.  MM also adjusted tif images so that MapUnitPolys for CC are true colors.

6/24/16 - MM placed remaining contacts and points in the layout for Explanation of Map Symbols.  MM printed map for review by PB. 

6/25/16 (Saturday) - MM added prospects and mine points to layout.  MM put points, instead of polygons for MPzgb and Zhablt-dcp for rock boxes in correlation diagram and layout.  MM adjusted layout to match Siler City NE.  MM made additional changes from edits by PB. MM printed map.

6/26/16 (Sunday) - MM wrote edits on map.

6/27/16 - MM corrected edits on map and printed a review copy for KBT.

6/28/16 - MM added NC logo to lower left corner of layout and added LiDAR to the traverse map in the lower right corner.  

6/29/16 - MM made KBT corrections and printed out final map.

WE'RE DONE!  

5/22/17 - MM, per PB request, added FY2017_Contacts_CCR to .mxd.  MM modified the spreadsheet, adding SM_CODE, Type and Symbol columns and populating them.  Once complete, MM copied and pasted this data to ObservationPoints_CrutchfieldCrossroads.  MM then began moving the dip numbers around the symbols.

5/23/17 - MM, per PB request, ran topology and made polygons from 2017_contacts file.  MM then sent PB the geodatabase for Crutchfield Crossroads.

5/24/17 - MM continued moving dip numbers. 

5/25/17 - MM completed moving dip numbers.
