Dear Diary – Fuquay-Varina
5/7/13 – PB and John and MM have been trying to figure out what is the latest and best version of Fuquay available. PB and MM today decided on a version. PB sent me a copy of an .mxd that is similar to the pdf that he sent me last week (FuquayVarina_992_08162010.pdf). This has Al and Bob’s coastal plain units on it and we may decide to transfer John and Kenny’s coastal plain units at a later date. MM will try and update and proofread this .mxd and make sure it’s good. Then MM will try to make the format similar to DISTRIBUTABLE/PRODUCTION. MM noticed that the geochem feature class and the geochem table did not match. MM mentioned this to PB, who said leave it for now. MM went in and changed the dip numbers to 9 italics and adjusted their locations. MM changed all the names of the feature classes and put them in a feature dataset in DISTRIBUTABLE. MM hope to have a chance tomorrow to adjust the attribute tables to match them up with FGDC standards. MM also drew red boxes around areas where the polygons did not match the linework.
5/8/13 – MM put all the assorted files into the PRODUCTION folder. MM reassigned the stereoscopes and charts and logos to the Images folder in the DISTRIBUTABLE folder. MM adjusted the attribute tables. Also started edgematching problems on w side of quad.
5/9/13 – MM continued correcting edgematching problems on the borders.
5/30/13 – MM continued to correct edgematching problems, but MM may have accidently moved the TKu unit off its rails. So MM got rid of the OverlayPolys feature class and created it again. MM finished edgematching, including the new OverlayPolys feature class.
3/4/14 – Ken wanted me to print out copies of Fuquay-Varina with sediment and without. MM opened up the mxd and MM had to reestablish the links with the logos and the images at the bottom of the map. MM also turned on the linework for Qal and cpu. MM talked with PB, and he might come here on 3/7 to work on Fuquay. THE ONLY MAP TO PAY ATTENTION TO IS Fuquay_PRODUCTION.1/6/16 - MM uploaded latest version of Fuquay-Varina map to Google Drive:
