9/11/17 - KBT approves map as NCGS OFR 2017-07.

9/8/17 - MM made final corrections, printed map out and awaits final approval.

9/6/17 - MM made corrections to KBT edits.  MM printed map for final review.

8/15/17 - MM made additional corrections to PB's corrections to latest map.  MM printed map. 

8/9/17 - MM made PB corrections to map and, after consultation with PB, printed the map.

8/2/17 - MM replaced joint rose diagram in layout with Joints_SCI_2017_thick_grid_non_symmetric diagram.

7/28/17 - MM replaced old stereonets with new ones, per PB's email.  MM added rock unit labels to all of MapUnitPolys_2017.  MM added labels to s half Jd lines.  MM changed Zhel in SE corner to Zhe*.  MM printed map for PB.

6/19/17 - MM finished confirmation of fold decorations.

6/16/17 - MM placed new text description, references and assorted text from PB into layout.  MM changed, modified or corrected fold decorations.  

6/15/17 - MM added text description to layout.  PB modified alteration contact in S central part of quad.  MM symbolized the line as a purple gradational line.  MM added 2 Zhqdp square symbols to map below joint symbols.

6/13/17 - MM split contact lines to create concealed contact lines in the quad.

6/12/17 - MM made additions to the symbols and text in the layout.  MM tried to make sure layout was reflective of what was in the quad.

6/7/17 - MM finalized corrections to the Correlation Diagram by bringing in the 2017 polygons into the 2016 Data View and adjusting the polygons.

6/6/17 - MM modified and improved the 2017 Correlation Diagram, per PB powerpoint diagram.  MM moved 2017 diagram next to 2016 diagram for comparison purposes and further work on it tomorrow.

6/5/17 - MM brought over files for stereoscopes, traverses and correlation diagram from the T drive, per PB's request.  MM added 2017 stereoscopes and traverses to layout.  MM added correlation diagram to new Data View.

6/2/17 - MM clipped out polylines outside of the quad.  MM added in CSB data and cleaned up the Data View for CSB and placed it in the layout.   

6/1/17 - MM received from PB and BP (Brandon Peach) Siler City data for the lower 2/3 of the quad.  MM, after deleting now-obsolete 2016 data (MapUnitPolys, OverlayPolys, ContactsAndFaults, OtherLines), replaced that data with the 2017 data in a new SilerCity_2017_PRODUCTION.mxd.  This .mxd was created from the old SilerCity_PRODUCTION.mxd, which is now renamed SilerCity_2016_PRODUCTION.mxd.

5/12/17-5/13/17 - MM loaded and rotated symbols and adjusted the dip numbers.

5/12/16 - MM redid longitude/latitude coordinates in corners of quad.

5/11/16 - MM created new OverlayPolys from Qal contacts.  MM ran topology on both and were successful.  MM also created new box with NCGS information and placed in layout.

5/10/16 - MM deleted Qal polygons and had to modify PB contacts for Qal.  PB used LiDAR without the hydro layer to draw the Qal contacts.  

5/6/16 - MM added Qal lines (OverlayPolys) from Qal_polylines_Siler_city_area (a zip file from PB) to the feature dataset. MM connected the nodes from the linework and ran topology (successful).  MM converted linework into OverlayPolys2 feature class.

5/4/16 - MM spliced the hydro layer, turned it into a GeoTIFF and added to .mxd.

5/3/16 - MM started and completed the conversion of NC_Siler_City_20130501_TM_geo_for_Export from a pdf into a GeoTIFF.  This was then loaded into the new SilerCity_PRODUCTION.mxd.

5/2/16 - MM created the SilerCity folder and also created the DISTRIBUTABLE and PRODUCTION folders within the SilerCity folder.  MM copied NC_Siler_City_20130501_TM_geo and NC_Siler_City_20130501_TM_geo_for_Export from the T drive from PB. 

6/6/16 - MM loaded SilerCity_2016.shp and modified attribute table to add SM_CODE and Symbol columns.  MM then saved this as ObservationPoints_SilerCity.  MM then formatted the symbols and arranged them (as well as the dip numbers) to maximize visibility.

6/7/16 - MM received stereonets and rock unit descriptions from PB and MM placed them into the layout.  MM added structural symbols to the layout.  MM placed dip numbers next to the symbols.  MM entered new information into the info box in the lower right of the layout. 

6/15/16 - MM placed two additional references in References section of layout. 

6/16/16 - MM received email from HH (6/13) and downloaded SCI_CCR_LIB_COL data into the Statemap_Chapel_Hill_100k folder.  MM then clipped out Siler City data and began to symbolize it.  MM added labels to rock unit polygons.  

6/17/16 - MM added Correlation Diagram to Data View.  MM changed folds to magenta and disregarded HH symbols and placed individual anticline and syncline symbols on folds.

6/24/16 - MM added cross section and symbolized it.  MM added two extra fold axes from HH.  MM rearranged layout to match Montreat.  MM printed map for PB review.

6/25 (Saturday) - MM made changes from PB edits.  MM added 3 traverses to traverse map.  MM dotted contacts and faults going through Qal polygons.  MM labeled Qal polygons.  MM added "TO BE MAPPED 2016-2017" text on quad.  MM printed map for review.

6/26 (Sunday) - MM wrote edits on the printed map.

6/27/16 - MM corrected edits, added LiDAR traverse map in lower right corner, added NC logo in lower left corner and printed one review copy for KBT.

6/29/16 - MM made final corrections and printed out final map.

WE'RE DONE! (with the northern 1/3rd of the map)

5/12/17 - MM added BF's Siler_City_2017 points feature class into SilerCity_PRODUCTION.gdb, per PB's request.  MM then copied and pasted feature class points into ObservationPoints_SilerCity feature class,  MM then placed Siler_City_2017 points that are in Coleridge into the ExcesPoints_SilerCity feature class.  MM then deleted those points from ObservationPoints_SilerCity.  MM then added SM_CODE and Symbol numbers to the new points.  MM will rotate the dip numbers on 5/15.

5/15/17 - MM completed rotating the dip numbers.
