1/16/24 - MM added Declination arrow and text, per PB's email.

11/29/23 - MM made one change to diabase symbol in upper left portion of layout, per PB suggestion. Saved another pdf and saved it to S:\Phil\MAPS. Should be completed now.

10/17/23 - MM put new number (2023-01) on the map, then created a pdf of it. Completed?

10/11/23 - PB looked over the map, then handed it to KBT to reviewed it. KBT found no errors, so MM just had to put a new number on it.

9/27/23 - PB told MM to just make the points in question just Observation Point symbols. MM did, printed the map out and will be picked up by Callie Anthony at CPO.

9/25/23 - MM gave PB the map to correct. PB did that on 9/14 and MM picked up the map on 9/22. MM corrected edits from PB today. MM asked PB about two observation points that had wrong strike/dips. Once that is taken care of, MM will print map for PB.

8/25/23 - MM completed the rest of the changes - corrected the Correlation Diagram, putted in concealed contacts and labelled the diabase lines. MM tried to send PB an image, but ArcPro refused to export an image. Not sure why. MM will create one at Archdale on Monday.

8/24/23 - MM symbolized Emily's points, finished up most of the map, and then straightened up the layout, especially in the upper right portion with the lines and symbols.

8/23/23 - MM moved dip numbers (and the occasional text symbol) to their proper places. Also brought in Emily's points near the bottom of the quads.

7/28/23 - MM received a PowerPoint from PB yesterday.

7/27/23 - While still at Archdale, MM continued moving the dip numbers around.

7/26/23 - While at Archdale, MM started moving the dip numbers around the Observation station symbols.

7/21-25/23 - MM changed the contour lines into brown contour lines. MM then spliced away thje contours in the hundreds and created its own feature class. MM then created annotation for the hundreds feature class and then made sure the numbers were in the right place.

7/20/23 - MM brought in a preliminary contour layer from the USGS. MM converted it to a shapefile and brought it, as well as the map box, to ArcMap. There, MM clipped the contour shapefile to the box, and brought this clipped contour layer back to ArcPro.

7/18/23 - MM brought in more text in layout. PB agreed on 24k layout landscape. MM tried to bring in contours, but was unsuccessful at the time.

7/7/23 - MM brought in new lineaments and MRDS folders from PB and Teams. MM brought the lineaments feature class in and copy/pasted into GeologicLines feature class. MM also brought in the MRDS points feature class. MM arranged symbols and text on layout. MM changed layout from Portrait to Landscape after the map elements just wouldn't work in the Portrait orientation. MM continued labeling the MUP and made sure the coverage of the labels was spread out. MM extended the traverses to match the map area. MM created a 50k layout, in case PB preferred that over 24k layout.

6/29-6/30/23 - MM cleaned up all the feature classes and they now come out of SnowCamp_Kimes_DELIVERABLE_v1.gdb. MM now has the full and complete OrientationPoints_SCK, with most of the attribute columns filled in. MM also cleaned up and tightened the layout. MM still needs to add the layout symbols for the lines and points and also has to work on OrientationPoints_SCK at Archdale. MM still cannot figure out why it does not work with OrientationPoints at home with the State laptop.

6/22/23 - MM created Quad Index view, Traverses view, StateIndex view and placed more explanatory text on layout. MM also cleaned up a little bit of the folder, although there is still a little bit more to do. PB also gave MM stereonets and ObservationPoints thru Teams.

6/19/23 - MM completed Correlation View and placed in layout. MM finally decided to make the layout Portrait. MM continued to play with the layout.

6/16/23 - MM continued working on the layout, as well as focusing on the Correlation View.

6/15/23 - MM started working on the layout.

6/14/23 - MM continued to move the chess pieces on the Portrait layout. MM started symbolizing the feature classes, like MUP and CAF. MM did not finish with the MUP yet.

6/13/23 - MM began the process of creating this two-quadrangle project. MM downloaded data from PB on Teams to a folder on the external hard drive. MM created a Layout View and brought in some of the feature classes for these two quadrangles. MM brought in ancillary text on the sides of the layout. MM created the longitude/latitude text.
