Angier Quadrangle

7/16/14 – Heather left the Angier folder on the T drive and I moved it to the C: under Statemap_Raleigh100k.

8/1/14 – I started work on this quadrangle.  I began with loading the correct color rock unit boxes, and then bringing in rock unit description text from various quadrangles until it was complete.  I placed the longitude/latitude coordinates.  I started cleaning up the text labels in the quadrangle.

8/4/14 – Finished cleaning up the text labels.  I printed out the map and detailed some corrections that needed to be made.  I started cleaning up the layout.  I started to match the contacts with John and Kenny’s coastal plain units.  It is when I started this that I found a gap between polygons.  This means I’m going to have to do topology on this quadrangle, as well as the other quadrangles in this mini-project.  I also sent Phil an email on this very subject.  I then continued to match the contacts.

8/5/14 – I completed matching the contacts to the cpo units.  I saved the .mxd, made a pdf of the layout and sent it to Heather and Phil.

8/6/14 – I did topology on the Angier_Bedrock_Polygons and, although it took an hour or so, I got the polygons fixed.

8/7/14 – I made a couple of edits from me and then from Heather, then I saved the .mxd as a pdf and
emailed it to Heather and Phil.

8/8/14 – I realized I had the declination after all, and I put it on the layout, along with the Index map.  I saved the layout as a pdf and emailed it to Heather and Phil.

9/24/14 – Heather gave me two edits to fix and I fixed them.  One was an INTRODUCTION sentence and another was putting back in a line that I had deleted about Tyler.  I sent Heather another pdf.

10/16/2014 – Manuscript version of Angier added to Wake County Compilation.  Geotiff export from Geopdf made.
