Dear Diary - Region H
1/24/23 - MM finished digitizing contacts, zipped up a geodatabase and emailed it to PB after he requested it. MM finished digitizing almost all the bedrock contacts and almost all the coastal plain contacts for Region H.
9/20/22 - 10/24/22 - MM continued digitizing lines. On 10/21, PB suggested completing the Southern Pines 100k portion of the map first.
9/13/22 - Ultimately, it didn't work; but MM found a workaround solution, by breaking up the boundary lines into smaller segments and then copy/pasting into CAF. MM put vertexes on linework of bounding lines for Region H.
9/12/22 - MM used a variety of methods to get a bounding polygon for Region H. Will see if it works tomorrow.
9/9/22 - MM started digitizing polylines, however spent a frustrating amount of time trying to get a boundary around the 4 county area. And yes, it was ultimately unsuccessful.
9/6/22 - MM georeferenced remaining portions of the images to the map.
9/1/22 - MM georeferenced Region H as a whole to the county lines. MM then broke the Region H tif image into 8 smaller images. MM then georeferenced 2 of the images (NW and TopCenter) to the LiDAR base.
8/26/22 - MM began by creating GeMS geodatabase, and then adding LiDAR hillshades for the 4 counties of Region H. MM also brought in the feature class for the 1985 State Geologic Map.
