Dear Diary - Southern Pines 100k (New beginning)
3/16/23 - MM finished populating ContactsAndFaults_SP100k and MapUnitLines. MM also tried downloading new style files for the lines.
3/14/23 - MM concentrated on populating the attribute table for ContactsAndFaults_SP100k, which included trying to figure out which map was responsible for creating the lines.
3/8/23 - MM and PB made some connector lines to try and get the map closer to makinc complete polygons.
2/23/23 - MM finished bringing over OverlapLines to the SP 100k. MM deleted a couple of ContactsAndFaults from the Region H that didn't make any sense anymore. MM made a few Bulletin 95 lines. MM made a few connector lines and did his best to try to connect some lines together. MM has gotten to #7 on PowerPoint instructions and will wait to talk with PB tomorrow.
2/22/23 - MM completed the White Hill GeologicLines addition to the SP MapUnitLines feature class. MM began to make the Putnam GeologicLines good enough to take to SP, but there were some overlap lines that need to be taken out before incorporating into the SP feature class.
2/17/23 - MM went backwards to the Reinemund project to populate the attribute tables, before the quads get incorporated into the SP feature classes, starting with White Hill.
2/16/23 - MM continued working on getting diabase lines in GeologicLines feature classes into the SP MapUnitLines. MM started on White Hill but didn't finish it.
2/10/23 - MM continued working on Page 5, Step 5. MM started placing diabase, starting with Vass (and working backwards from the list in Step 4), in the MapUnitLines feature class. MM started with Carthage, but there were too many blank spaces in the attribute tables, and MM needed to investigate.
2/8/23 - MM went to page 5 of the SouthernPines 100K project_digitization_Jan2023 PowerPoint to start working on the .apr. Step 3 had been done by PB, so MM worked on Step 4. Except for taking Coastal Plain linework and putting it in a safe place, MM completing taking the linework from 6 quadrangles digitized in Reinemund and bring them into ContactsAndFaults for the SP 100k. While this was going on, MM populated some of the attribute tables.
2/7/23 - MM and PB had hour-long meeting to discuss the new beginnings of the Southern Pines 100k. We are to blend the workings of Renemund, Region H and Bulletin 95 to create a composite Southern Pines 100k bedrock map. The accompanying PowerPoint will have the instructions for what to do. MM had (a couple of weeks ago) created the new Southern Pines .apr to accomplish this. First up, take bedrock contacts from Reinemund and put them into ContactsAndFaults feature class.
