12/2/19 - MM has completed creating the polygons. MM also created internal labels and color-coded the polygons. MM asked PB what was next and PB suggested incorporating the Goldston and Colon area data into those specific quadrangles.
11/26/19 - MM finished using lines to create MapUnitPolys for Reinemund in Colon and Goldston. This involved copying the ContactsAndFaults to create a new layer. Then MM closed the gaps in the lines so that the polygons could be done correctly. The polygon process has begun.

9/23/19 - MM created a new GEMS geodatabase thru ArcToolbox and placed it in ChapelHill_100k on the C drive. MM created the OrientationPoints feature class to go with the auto-created ContactsAndFaults and MapUnitPolys feature classes. MM started digitizing OrientationPoints on the map.
9/16/19 - 9/20/19: MM brought in three panels of USGS PP 246 in order to georeference them. MM cropped these images in small blocks (9 total), so that the georeferencing could be done over a smaller, more accurately georeferenced way. The base that was used to georeference the maps was the county-specific LiDAR for Lee, Chatham and Moore.
