Dear Diary - Chatham County

5/7/18 - MM updated map by taking out old Liberty, Siler City and Crutchfield Crossroads feature classes and bringing in new versions and adding them to ChathamCounty_MapUnitPolys, ChathamCounty_Contacts and ChathamCounty_FaultsDikesAndLineaments.

4/4/18 - MM updated map with revisions and updates to Liberty, Siler City and Crutchfield Crossroads.

10/28-10/31/16 - MM added the Unit_Name and Unit_Description (2000 characters) columns in the attribute table and populated all the records with the appropriate values.

10/18-10/20/16 - MM joined, but not merged, ContactsAndFaults from all the quadrangles into the same feature.  Same for OtherLines and MapUnitPolys.  MM needed to rename the linetype or ROCKUNIT columns in the attribute tables of the eastern quads to match the ChathamCounty joined feature classes.  MM needed to add RGB units to many of the polygons in the eastern quads to get a complete MapUnitPolys feature class.

8/16/16 - MM re-did scale bar, since it was originally done tied to the inset map.  Once scale bar was corrected, sent jpeg of map to PB.

8/4/16 - MM made changes, especially to the Farrington quadrangle, to make the geology of the different quadrangles agree with each other in name, as well as color and pattern.  MM added Reinemund cropped geology .png's to the map, per PB.  MM saved 200 dpi png for PB.  MM changed color of K/Tu.

8/3/16 - MM changed Silk Hope Zhadlt (u) to Zhablt (from Siler City NE).  MM changed Zwfd, in places, to Zefmd or Zefg-m.  MM also changed corresponding polylines to match polygons.

8/1/16 - MM made modifications to map and added geographic features, such as towns, roads, hydro, as well as a Data View with a quad index.  MM clipped those features to Chatham County.  MM deleted cross section lines and map boundary lines to make map more clean.

7/29/16 - MM, with assistance from PB, creates map in ChathamCountyGeologicMap folder.  Map is in ChathamCountyGeologicMap.mxd.  MM saved all geology polygons and polylines into geodatabase for County.  MM left those files with same names and .lyr, but no longer connected to original files.
